I drew this long time ago, but I found it again lately. I know it's not really Christmas spirited, but it has snow on it. That counts, right?

Poor Groke...
In "Moominland Midwinter" book there's a scene where she sees an oil-lamp on a snow and goes near it. Unfortunately everything around her freezes and so the fire inside the lamp dies before she even touches the whole thing. Being disapointed she goes away to the dark forest. Only thing she just wanted was get some warm...

I admit, I was afraid of Groke when I was a child, but when I grew up I realised how unfair her life really is. Because she freezes everything around her, nobody likes her at all. And she's not even a bad person! She's just lonely character who walks around never saying a word. It makes me feel bad for her.

I'm sorry Groke I was afraid of you.

I really am.
